Application ; Weakback ferrules are used for joining copper conductors by means of a combination of solder sweating and crimping. This is an old method of cable jointing but is still widely used in some Government utility institutions

Torque shear ferrules consist of a high grade tin plated aluminium ferrule body with shear bolts.
